The circle represents wholeness, the infinite universe, God, Spirit.
The three horizontal lines represent attributes of the universe: Spirit, Soul (Mind) and Body (Form). These sections are also commonly referred to as Seed, Soil and Plant.
The V in the symbol represents the universal Creative Process.
The descent of the V represents the movement of Spirit through the creative medium of the Soul (Mind/Soil) into Body (Form/Plant).
The ascent of the V represents Body (Form/Plant) returning again up through Soul (Mind/Soil) and into Spirit.
